
Born and raised in central Oklahoma, A.W. Clark grew up visiting the Chickasaw National Recreational Area and the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge any time his family could get away from the soul sucking city existence. Those trails and rural roadways are where he forged his most valuable childhood memories and still spends his free time today.
Adam spent the early part of his life struggling with dyslexia and avoiding books whenever possible. Now, in his late 40s, he devours books with a passion. Even starting and stewarding a tiny free library in his home town. After seeing how powerful and life changing literary narrative can be, Adam decided it was time to attempt to leave his own mark in literary history through a challenge that he imposed on himself; to tell the story of epic size through the life of a tiny woodland creature.
